The Whisper Scarves

The Whisper Scarves are soft wisps inspired by Orenburg lace patterns and both are included in one pattern. The top scarf is an unusual oval shape and the bottom scarf is a rectangle. These are garter stitch scarves, but there is lace patterning on both sides. Recommended for Intermediate knitters.

Recommended yarn:

Any laceweight mohair yarn. Pattern was designed using 1 ball of Filatura di Crosa "Baby Kid Extra," for each scarf (25 gram ball = 245 metres).

Finished size of each scarf:

Approx. 40 inches long and 15 inches wide (longer scarves can easily be made by working more repeats and using extra yarn).

Needles:

Looser knitters use 3.5 mm (US 4) and tighter knitters use 4.5 mm (US 7) size needles
