Three Ripple Scarves

These easy-to-work, rippled texture scarves will appeal to either men or women and are completely reversible. The simple knit and purl designs flow off the needles, creating ripples of fabric to warm you or a lucky recipient! Recommended for Advanced Beginner knitters.

Recommended yarn:

Fiddlesticks Knitting Silken Merino (50% merino, 50% Tussah silk) each ball 50 g / 105 m

Minimum 3 balls for each scarf.
Note regarding yarn requirements:
Each of our scarves used almost all of the 3 balls (approximately 145 grams out of the 150 grams in 3 balls, or 305 metres). If you are not sure of matching gauge, or a longer scarf than our given measurements is desired, an extra ball of yarn is recommended.

Herringbone Scarf (centre) has the shortest repeat sections and so offers the most flexibility in making a shorter scarf if necessary.

Finished size of each scarf:

Approx. 51 inches long and 8 inches wide

Needles:

3.5 mm (US 4) needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge in stocking stitch:

4 inches = 20 stitches and 28 rows
