Ruffly Lace Vest

The Ruffly Lace Vest is a pretty addition to the spring and summer wardrobe. Worn over a T-shirt or cotton blouse, it adds a note of light-hearted femininity, whether paired with skirts or jeans.

Front and back are knit separately from bottom edge to top, then shoulder and side seams are sewn. Stitches are picked up at lower edge, around neckline and armhole openings and ruffles and edge stitches are worked. Sample shown in Size 1 (33 inches) and Shell Pink. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate knitters.

Size 1: 33 inches - 4 balls

Size 2: 34.75 inches - 5 balls

Size 3: 38.5 inches - 5 balls

Size 4: 41.5 inches - 6 balls

Size 5: 45 inches - 6 balls

Needles:

3.5 mm (US 4) straight or circulars as you prefer

3 mm (US 3) 24-inch and 32-inch circulars

18.5 stitches and 31.5 rows = 4 inches
