Rainbow Stole or Shawl

The Rainbow Stole or Shawl features the easy-to-work Feather and Fan lace pattern, with two strands of laceweight yarn held in the hand at once. The rich and harmonious colour effect is achieved by carrying a strand in one colour throughout while changing the other strand every few rows. Our method of changing colours does not leave ends to weave in later - no boring finishing required! The photographs do not adequately convey the beauty of the colours or the soft weight of the fabric, which has a lovely drape due to the doubled strands of yarn.

The pattern includes instructions for both the Stole and Shawl so that you can knit whichever you prefer, and the kit comes complete with the necessary yarn for one of the colourways above. We have wound special smaller balls of Zephyr laceweight, available only for the kit, so that you don't have to purchase full-sized balls and have too much left-over yarn. Recommended for Beginner lace knitters or TV watching!
