Endless Summer

This loose-fitting cover-up looks great over camisoles and T-shirts in summer, and to extend the season, light turtlenecks in fall and even winter. The stitch pattern is the easy-to-memorize “Roman Stripe,” from Barbara G. Walker’s Treasury. A minimum of shaping and sewing makes this top perfect for relaxed knitting and wearing in any season!

The body is worked in rectangles, which are joined with contrasting-coloured gussets. Three-needle bind-off keeps sewing up to a minimum. Sample shown in Size 2. Suitable for Advanced Beginner knitters.
