Diamond Lace Drops

This pretty silk cardigan is gently shaped at the waist for a flattering fit. The lace knitting detail adds to the flared effect at the bottom edge and sleeves.

The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately. Sleeves are worked flat and sewn in later. A delicate button band and small buttons provide a pretty finish. NOTE: Fiddlesticks Knitting patterns are charted. Recommended for Intermediate knitters.

Size 1: 34.75 inches - 7 balls

Size 2: 37 inches - 8 balls

Size 3: 39.5 inches - 8 balls

Size 4: 41.5 inches - 9 balls

Size 5: 44.25 inches - 9 balls

Needles:

3.5 mm (US 4) 24-inch and 32-inch circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge in stocking stitch:

4 inches = 19 stitches and 30 rows
