C'est la vie!

C'est la vie! combines simple rows of lace and knit-purl textures to create this easy-to-knit yet beautiful wrap. The “vee” shape sits comfortably on the shoulders, and the ruffles add extra flair.

The wrap is worked by creating two pieces of diagonally patterned, rectangular fabric, one longer than the other. The pieces are joined at right-angles to create a vee-shaped wrap, and then stitches are picked up along the edges for the ruffle. Recommended for Intermediate knitters.

Recommended yarn:

Aran weight: 50 g / 90 m (99yds)
Main colour, 13 balls
Ruffle colour, 4 balls

Finished size:

Approximately 43 inches along each long side of vee, not including ruffle
