Silken Dream
This lovely shawl features a beautiful
Japanese lace motif which creates a subtle play of light across the fabric.
When knit in our pure silk laceweight yarn, it’s a truly exquisite
dream.
The shawl begins with four cast on stitches at the top middle and then increases at sides and centre to create the triangular shape. The fan-like edging continues from the diamond lace motifs, and is finished with a crochet chain cast off. Lace shaping is on one side only, but there are both knit and purl stitches on the other side.
Recommended for Advanced Intermediate
lace knitters.

Finished size:
Approximately 65 inches across top edge and 31 inches deep at middle after
blocking
