In Very New, Very Vogue on page 22, Fiddlesticks Knitting is featured in the Made in Canada article by Lee Ann Balazuc, who writes:

"Dorothy Siemens of Toronto, Ontario, designer of the well-loved Peacock Feathers shawl pattern, launched her company, Fiddlesticks Knitting (fiddlesticksknitting.com), in 2002 with just a few patterns. But with Siemens's gorgeous designs and clearly charted, knitter-friendly patterns, Fiddlesticks has practically become synonymous with lace. This spring, Siemens is taking her decidedly feminine designing impulses a step further with garment design, using Zephyr DK-Weight silk and wool yarns."
