Beech Leaf Shawl
This
graceful shawl features the beautiful beech leaf lace pattern and is designed
for two weights of yarn, a fingering or laceweight.
Stitches are cast on for the bottom edge and rows become shorter as decreases
at the centre panel and side edges create a triangular shape. Lace shaping
is on one side only, except for lines of faggotting. At the end, stitches
are picked up around all edges and a simple picot-point lace edging is
worked.
Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced lace knitters.

Fingering: 1 skein Fiddlesticks Knitting Country Silk, each skein
approx. 250 g. / 800 m.
Laceweight: 2 balls Fiddlesticks Knitting Zephyr Laceweight, each
ball approx. 2 oz. / 630 yds.
